Why a Portfolio-Level Hub Matters
AG-ACt was funded by Genome Canada and operates across four partner institutions: the Université de Guelph, Université Simon Fraser, the Global Institute for Food and Security (GIFS), and the Université de Montréal, to support nine research teams working across climate-smart agricultural genomics.
Rather than functioning like a traditional communications unit, AG-ACt provides dedicated capacity to connect research teams, foster collaboration, build KMb skills, and accelerate the uptake of research. The partnership model brings together expertise across institutions while creating shared approaches, resources, and opportunities for portfolio-wide learning.
