Tailored for researchers, students, and industry professionals, our resources help build talent, expand capacity, and promote collaboration to maximize the impact of genomics research. Explore training, workshops, and resources from both centres to enhance your skills and contribute to a more sustainable future.  

Join our self‑paced CSAFS Training Certificate Program

We are launching a new, self‑paced Training Certificate for all members of the CSAFS community: HQPs, ICTs, Genome Canada, Genome Centres, and partners. Build practical knowledge and skills with flexible learning that fits your schedule to support your climate-smart research! 

At-A-Glance: CSAFS Training Certificate

  1. Complete the Registration FormSubmit your form to begin the pathway toward earning your certificate
  2. Watch for your confirmation emailYour confirmation email outlines the next steps and includes the link to the Activity Completion Survey
  3. Track and submit your activitiesAfter each activity, submit the Activity Completion Survey; you must complete six surveys in total
  4. Earn your Certificate of CompletionOnce all six activities are completed and submittedyou’ll receive your certificate and complimentary registration to the Cultivating Resilience Summit

Fill out the Registration Form to get started, then watch for a confirmation email with your next steps. It will include the link to the activity completion survey, which you’ll complete after each activity for a total of six.

Certificate Requirements

  • Create your own learning path by completing a total of six activities (see PDF below for details)
    • One activity per core learning area
    • Two additional activities from the learning area(s) of your choice
  • After each activity, complete a short survey (link found in your confirmation email) to earn your certificate

Benefits

  • Opportunity to design your own, self-paced learning path 
  • Recognition for your learning: Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion and complimentary registration to either the 2026 or 2027 Cultivating Resilience Summit

Timeline & Completion

  • Activities completed between June 2025 and December 2027 count toward the Certificate
  • You get one year of retroactive credit and one full year forward to complete all requirements
