The Cultivating Resilience Summit returns in 2026, bringing its national convening model to Calgary, Alberta. Following the success of the 2025 Summit in Vancouver, which brought together more than 180 leaders from academia, research, and industry, the Summit continues to strengthen collaboration across Canada’s climate-smart agri‑food system.
Hosted at the U Calgary Downtown Campus, the 2026 Summit aligns with the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP). This year’s program will highlight the role of rangelands and pastoral systems in advancing climate resilience, biodiversity, food security, and sustainable agriculture within a broader national context.
