Congratulations to the recipients of our first CS-DCC Data Processing and Analytics Scholarship intake!
Arindam Gupta (PhD Student, University of Guelph) and Lewis Lukens (Supervisor, University of Guelph) will be identifying the environmental and genetic contributors to major Ontario crops’ performances, alongside the CS-DCC.
Dr. Jack Royle (Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Saskatchewan) and Dr. Jon Bennett (Supervisor, University of Saskatchewan) will be leveraging large-scale metagenomic sequencing to study the microbial taxonomy and functional genomic potential of grassland soils, alongside the CAT-G team.
Cheikh Thiaw (PhD Student, INRS) and Dr. Paul Célicourt (Supervisor, INRS) will be developing a common data schema for the Climate-Smart Agriculture and Food Systems initiative, alongside the Loop team.
